I think these pages are, in some way, among the more difficult things I’ve drawn for this comic. Because movement is difficult, and complex poses are too. I’ve practiced this lately, but it’s hard. And so, drawing characters carrying one another while jumping and climbing, it was pretty difficult even when I tried to simplify things. This is why I always admire the skills of comic artists who are great at drawing characters in motion.

On another note, I’m feeling better again. I was a bit exhausted last week but now I’m just my normal tired self. And work on “part 2” (to begin after this chapter ends) is slower than I’d hoped, but I’ve decided to take my time and not hurry. I’ve learned a lot from working on this comic (and other projects) during the last couple of years, and I think I need time to process this so I can make full use of what I’ve learned. At least, I don’t want to keep going on auto-pilot.
