Emilia knows her girlfriend well, and can tell that she is worrying about not being enough. It’s the kind of complex that is shared by, I believe, most people who grow up disabled in a capitalist society.

From Charon’s point of view, it’s just good that Erin doesn’t waste her energy trying to be productive when there isn’t much she can do. Charon is the superhero veteran, and Emilia can use her new abilities to do some reconnaissance. Erin is just a normal human out of her depth, and she is wounded too. At the moment, doing nothing is the best she can do.
